💙⚽ ABOUT THE EVENT ⚽💙
This October, during Baby Loss Awareness Week, we are bringing people together for a very special charity football match between Held in Our Hearts FC and Sands United FC Glasgow & Lanarkshire.
This is about far more than football.
Both teams are made up of bereaved dads who have experienced the heartbreaking loss of a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death.
The match will provide an opportunity to come together, support one another, remember our babies, and raise awareness of a subject that is still not spoken about enough.
The aims of the event are simple:
🤍 Raise awareness of baby loss
💙 Support families during the most difficult times imaginable
🤝 Bring people together through shared experiences and understanding
💰 Raise funds for two incredible charities doing vital work in supporting bereaved families
For many, the day will be one of remembrance, support and connection. It is also an opportunity to show that no family should ever have to face baby loss alone.
📍 Venue: Vanloq Community Stadium, Edinburgh (Home of Spartans FC)
📅 Date: Sunday 11th October 2026
⏰ Kick-Off: 3:00pm
