About this Event

Crochet ear warmers are a must have this winter, and this crochet workshop is going to introduce you to a beautiful new autumnal stitch to make your ear warmers stand out.

This workshop is most suitable for those who know the basics of crochet. We will look a a creative stitch called 'extreme drop leaf stitch', which is the perfect stitch to learn for some cosy autumnal crocheting!

Crocheting is an incredibly mindful and relaxing craft and, when you become proficient with the stitches, you will find that you can bring your crocheting out anytime you have a spare 5 minutes to relax.

If you're keen to level up some crochet skills, this is a relaxed workshop with self care and fun at the heart. You'll get walked through every step, and come away with your own ear warmer and a pattern for you to carry on crocheting at home (and lets face it, with cosy season approching, what's better than an evening under the covers with a cuppa and some crochet!?)

All materials are provided for this workshop

However if you would like to choose your own materials, you will need the following:

Aran weight yarn in 2 colours

Size 5mm hook

Scissors

This workshop will take place in The Library of The Salisbury Centre, where tea, coffee and biscuits will be available throughout.
