Come and explore the stunning heathland habitat of RSPB Arne and discover the incredible wildlife that calls it home. Our guided walk will highlight the amazing late summer migratory birds, including the majestic Osprey.
As we stroll through this rare lowland heathland, our guides will help you spot the unique heathland species, such as the Dartford Warbler and Stonechat, along with other fascinating wildlife.
You'll also get the chance to enjoy breathtaking views of the Middlebere Channel, a beautiful inlet of Poole Harbour, perfect for spotting Ospreys as they fish and soar overhead. During August and September, Ospreys are often seen on their migration journey, thanks to the Birds of Poole Harbour (BOPH) translocation project. Poole Harbour offers a rich supply of fish, making it the ideal spot for these incredible birds to rest before continuing their journey.
