Designed for both singles and married individuals, this series aims to empower your personal journey, foster community connections, and provide practical tools for building strong, lasting relationships.
Learn more about:
- Self-Awareness: Reflect on your personal strengths, weaknesses, and life goals.
- Emotional Readiness: Assess your emotional maturity and past experiences.
- The Importance of Spiritual Preparation: Strengthen your connection with Allah and develop a clear intention for marriage.
Who Are the Speakers?
Imam Abdullah Kalantan is a PhD student in Public Health, specializing in research on smoking behaviors within the Muslim community in both New Zealand and Saudi Arabia. His research and work reflect a passion for improving the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of fellow Muslims. Although he is self-taught in Islamic studies, Imam Abdullah has earned certificates in Quran Recitation and Tajweed and is skilled in teaching others how to recite properly. He actively delivers khutbahs, halaqahs, and Quran classes, sharing his knowledge and insights with the community. Imam Abdullah is also under the supervision of Sheikh Rafat Najm, who endorses his work and leadership. His strong leadership skills, built through both formal education and professional experience, make him well-qualified to guide and engage the community in meaningful discussions during this series.

Currently pursuing her Master's in Islamic Psychology, Saphiya specializes in adult learning and self-development. She shares her insights at NSIA’s Pearl Night, a monthly halaqah for Muslimahs.
