Nestled in camp-style accommodations complete with cosy campfires and mouth watering BBQs your child will experience the quintessential summer camp atmosphere. All equipment is provided by Aotearoa Surf ensuring a hassle-free and unforgettable experience for your little surf enthusiasts.

Rest assured we've got everything covered to ensure your child enjoys fun-filled days packed with age-appropriate activities under careful supervision. From nutritious meals to comfortable dorm accommodations we prioritise your child's safety comfort and enjoyment throughout their stay with us.

LOCATION:

Located just 80 minutes north of Auckland Mangawhai boasts the ideal setting for our Ultimate Kids’ Surf Camp. With its pristine beach and sheltered harbour it offers the perfect blend of great surf and safe swimming for our young campers.

Nestled at Moirs Point camp our campsite provides breathtaking views overlooking the picturesque Mangawhai Harbour setting the stage for an unforgettable outdoor adventure for your child.

AGES:

Our camp welcomes children ages 8 to 15 of all surfing and swimming abilities. Our team of seasoned surf instructors and lifeguards will tailor lessons to accommodate each child's individual skill level and comfort in the water ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning experience for all.

SURFING:

Twice-daily surf lessons will be held at either Mangawhai Heads Beach or Te Arai Beach offering diverse conditions to enhance participants' progression and confidence in the ocean and surfing. Rest assured all necessary equipment will be provided by Aotearoa Surf ensuring a seamless and enjoyable learning experience for every participant.

ACTIVITIES:

During the camp which is conveniently situated right on the water participants will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of exciting activities. From paddle boarding and kayaking to tackling the confidence course and enjoying thrilling waterslides there's something for everyone. On land campers can partake in soccer rugby volleyball and more.

As the sun sets nighttime activities come alive including campfires outdoor movies burma trails night swims BBQs and other fun-filled adventures. It's an action-packed experience from sunrise to sunset!

ACCOMMODATION:

We provide comfortable dorm-style accommodations thoughtfully grouped by ages and genders ensuring a safe and enjoyable stay for all campers. Participants have the option to room with friends.

MEALS:

We prioritise the well-being of our campers by providing nutritious meals including unlimited fruit throughout their stay. We cater to various dietary requirements such as vegetarian gluten-free and dairy-free options. If your child has any allergies or specific dietary needs please contact us in advance so we can accommodate them accordingly.

TRANSPORT:

Pickup and drop off service from Auckland to Mangawhai – Parents are welcome to drop off / pick up from camp. See our website for further details.
