About this Event
Join Chetna & Charlotte for an afternoon of Movement and Sound with heart opening yin yoga, mudras, flower essences and crystal bowls sound bath.
Charlotte will guide you through slow paced Yin Yoga as we connect to the breath and use specific heart opening poses. She will bring in Flower Essences to further expand the heart centre.
Following on from this Chetna will take you on a magical journey of sound and meditation with heart chakra singing bowls and other delicate instruments to relax the body and connect deeper to our hearts from a place of compassion and self love.
Plant Medicine and flower remedies are very effective at releasing emotional blocks in the body to bring about a state of balance.
Sound Baths are known to bring many benefits including bringing inner stillness where deep healing can occur. They can also strengthen the nervous system and balance the chakras thereby increasing energy/vitality and alleviating stress.
No previous experience of yoga is required to attend this class and the use of flower essences is optional.
The church dates back to 1896 and has a beautiful apse and stained glass to create beautiful reflective colours as we play the gongs. The church also has incredible acoustics which is perfect for sound healing in a sacred space.
Chetna is the founder of Aatma, she regularly runs events, workshops and retreats. She is a Gong Master & Sound Healer, Reiki Master and Teacher in various modalities of healing. She has over 20 years of experience and training.
Charlotte Wise is the founder of Charlotte Wise Wellbeing. She is a yoga/pilates instructor, massage therapist and Australian bush flower essences practitioner. She also has over 20 years of experience and training.
