The Heart Attack Hill 5k Fun Run/Hike may be just what the Doctor ordered. Don't let the name scare you. Never experienced trail running? This event is a great introduction and perfect for all fitness levels. Set against the backdrop of Lake Havasu's pristine SARA Park trails this event will give you a great taste of trail racing.
The Heart Attack Hill 5k will share the same start/finish as the Lizard Peak Scramble, however it will take participants on a more mellow yet scenic loop through the desert on a fun yet potentially fast 5k loop for serious runners.
Modest elevation gains and losses along well-groomed single-track trails, make this a fun and very doable run/hike for people of all ages.
A portion of event proceeds will benefit Firefighter Mental Health and Peer Support Programs.
