On January 29 and 30, 2025, the Hospital AOU Federico II will host the conference "Healthcare processes based on Innovations and Digital Technologies " as part of the EU Health Program project e-Hospital4Future. Leading European digital health specialists and experts will present training programs on digital solutions in healthcare and innovative treatment methods in the health sector.

As part of the “e-Hospital4Future” project, a training system consisting of 19 modules was developed for regular knowledge enhancement of healthcare professionals, both online and in person. These modules were created in collaboration with universities, technology centres, and hospitals from eight European countries.
At the conference, specialists from Belgium, Norway, Portugal, and Latvia will provide insights into the training programs—presentations will focus on patient safety, digital solutions in healthcare, personal skills of healthcare staff.
Additionally in conference will be held practical workshop “Practical Workshop on emerging AI, mixed reality, and the use of simulation in healthcare”, with practical examples how easy use of virtual reality and augmented reality for Healthcare and Healthcare learning processes.
