Health Workforce Well-Being Day Celebratory Event 2025

In an ongoing commitment to health workers and health for all, the NAM established , held annually on March 18, and hosted a kickoff event celebrating the inaugural Day in March 2024. We are excited to reconvene national and institutional leaders, policymakers, patients and communities, and health workers of all professions to continue galvanizing efforts toward health worker well-being…because A Healthy Workforce Means a Healthy You.

The NAM's second annual celebration of the Day will be on March 17, 2025, 10 AM – 12 PM ET, at the National Academy of Sciences and virtually, and will kick off a series of well-being events and activities led by organizations nationwide. The NAM aims to mobilize ALL to take action after hearing insights from national leaders and that have been accelerating progress day to day.

Following the public reception, we will also be hosting a Change Maker Summit – open only to current or recently signed up Change Makers – which will offer a unique opportunity to engage in cross-sector networking and focused discussions from 1:30 - 5:30 PM ET. We highly encourage in-person participation for the summit discussions.

Sessions will dive deeper into topics like how to reinforce the case for well-being in the current environment to help sustain wellness programs, as well as practical tools and tactics for implementing well-being initiatives. We hope this opportunity will empower attendees to take immediate steps to drive impactful change in their organizations and the ongoing movement for health workforce well-being.
