Healing Through Trauma and Attachment: A Pastor's Tool Kit

Chaddock is hosting the first Clergy-focused training and seminar, based on our highly successful Developmental Trauma and Attachment Program (DTAP). This two-day seminar will assist clergy to better recognize and counsel individuals and families suffering from trauma and attachment related issues.

Dates: April 23rd & 24th, 2026

Thursday April 23

• Registration and light lunch: 12:00 noon-1:00 PM

• Session 1– 1:00 -3:30 PM

Friday April 24

• Session 2 – 9:00-11:30 AM

• Break and Lunch 11:30- 1:00 PM

• Session 3 – 1:00-3:30 PM

The Dr. Debbie Reed Center for Excellence, on the Chaddock Campus, Quincy IL

Conference sessions will be conducted by Chaddock professionals who have decades of experience helping children and families, and who directly helped develop Chaddock’s DTAP model.

Rooted in science, experience, and faith, DTAP has been recognized by national accrediting bodies, professional publications, and in national media including CBN (Christian Broadcasting Network) and All Access with Andy Garcia.

Participants can expect a deeper understanding of the science behind the DTAP model, the role faith played in its development, and, most importantly, practical applications for clergy.

Sessions will be interactive with plenty of exposition, examples, stories, and time for questions and discussion.
