About this Event
About this event
You can expect, to be carried gently into meditative relaxation and restoration... You will be surrounded by sound from various instruments which will awaken the chakras in your body... touching the elements of earth, air, water and fire...
We spend most of our daily lives in fight or flight mode, and we hardly ever allow our bodies and minds to be soothed, (mindfulness based compassionate living) by engaging in a sound bath you can be soothed and swaddled in compassionate healing, there is nothing for you to do except to allow your body to come to rest for an hour, we do the rest…
Is there any water involved? Is a frequently asked question… none at all, only the water you might drink…
What you need to bring:
Something comfy to lay on: eg yoga mat, camping mattress etc, pillow or cushion and fleece blankets to cover for warmth, and water... It's good to stay hydrated especially after the session.
You can bring your own eye mask or you can purchase a heated disposable one from us, at the event, for £2.
You can eat a light healthy meal before the session but please don't eat a heavy meal as you may find discomfort in laying for a long time on a full stomach.
Safety notes:
For most people engaging in a sound bath is a deeply soothing experience. You may feel strong emotions will rise to the surface and this is ok... just allow feelings to come and go. However, if you suffer with epilepsy, chronic mental health disorders, such as PTSD, have implants, such as pacemakers or are pregnant or have severe skin conditions, such as hives or psoriasis please consult your GP or health care professional to ensure you are safe to receive the sound bath. Laying as far away from the sound source, can be helpful.
