Healing Hands, Creative Hearts Event
About this Event
Registration not required.
Hosted by Overdose and Substance Misuse Prevention Coordinator Amanda Dugger, the idea and name for the event came from a sleepless night a few years ago while reflecting on her personal experience with loss due to substance misuse.
“Healing Hands” is a chance for those affected by substance misuse, whether personally or through the loss of a friend or loved one, to honor their memory or find personal healing.
"Creative Hearts" is a nod to the creativity and artistic outlets that many people use throughout their recovery journey.
The event will feature :
- A resource fair
- Live performers
- Fun activities
- Panel with guest speakers, including:
