Enjoy an afternoon of appreciating many forms of art created by the community. The Youth Services Programming Room will be transformed into an art gallery where we’ll all mingle, enjoy light refreshments, and experience the warm ambiance of background music. All are welcome to freely come and go during this event.
* We are still accepting art pieces to be displayed in the Art Show!
We would love for you to be a featured artist! Each person may submit one physical work of art, poem, or piece of sheet music no larger than 12x12x12 inches. The theme of the art show is “Inspired by a Book.” Create a family-friendly drawing, painting, sculpture, poem, or piece of music inspired by literature. Please submit your work to the Hardin County Public Library Youth Department by January 22, 5:30 PM.
*The Hardin County Public Library reserves the right to decline any piece. Artwork can be picked up for one week (until February 6, 2026, 5:30 PM) following the Art Show. The pieces will be mounted for the Art Show. The Hardin County Public Library is not responsible for lost or damaged items.
