On Saturday 21st February, between 12pm-4pm our volunteers will be making havercakes that visitors can taste with a variety of toppings.
On Sunday 22nd February havercakes will be made again and we will be visited by His Majesty’s 33rd Regiment of Foot (known as the Havercake Lads)
1pm - The regiment will march from the Scout hut to Colne Valley Museum
1.15 - Wellington Waterloo and the waterways talk in the meeting room
2pm - Drill display on the Croft at Colne Valley Museum, weather permitting
2.30pm - Nathan will give a music talk on ‘songs and music of the redcoats’ in the meeting room
3pm onwards - The regiment will march back to the Scout hut.
The 33rd regiment of foot will be enjoying havercakes with a variety of toppings in Mrs Pearsons kitchen and Victorian kitchen- come and join them and chat with them.
