Are Angels All Around Us? A Spiritual Leader from Ireland Says ‘Yes'

On Sunday, October 11th, one of the most well-known living mystics of our day, Lorna Byrne will share the story of her remarkable life journey.
Born in Dublin in the 1950s, Ms. Byrne has been able to see and speak to angels all her life. She has overcome severe dyslexia, poverty, and being misdiagnosed in childhood as “retarded” to remind humanity of our truth— that we are not just human beings, we are spiritual beings with soul, and we have guardian angels that never leave us, not even for one moment.
Lorna Byrne first wrote about her ability to discern and interact with angels in her international bestselling book, Angels in My Hair, informing the world that we are all surrounded and guided by energies or presences that can radically alter our lives. She will show us how we can be open to them.
Spiritual traditions around the world have long documented the appearance of divine intermediaries, messengers, or guardians who come to our aid. Known as malakim in Judaism, malaika in Islam, devas or gandharvas in Hinduism and Buddhism, and thunderbirds or sky messengers among indigenous cultures, these protectors of humanity and the planet are much needed in our conflicted world right now.
Over the course of 90 minutes, Ms. Byrne will discuss her extraordinary ability to interact with angelic presences, aided by the fact that her mind was never conditioned not to see them. A childhood misdiagnosis of her neurodivergent mind enabled Lorna to construct her own knowledge and world view. Shunned by teachers and classmates, Ms. Byrne was left painfully alone in the classroom and therefore was spared prevailing Western orthodox rationalist construction of the universe. Instead, she was able to retain and further develop a paranormal ability to see and engage energetic valences that most of us do not.
Though unable to read or write due to her severe dyslexia, writing her life story was made possible by speech recognition software. Ms. Byrne is now the author of eight bestselling books that have been translated into 30 languages and published in over 50 countries. In spreading her message of hope, healing and harmony, she has become a global humanitarian and ambassador of peace.
Ms. Byrne’s visit to the Spiritual Center will begin with an opportunity to purchase her books, some of which are not readily available here in the United States. An informal chat will then ensue with the Center’s founding director. A novice to the angelic realm, he will ask the essential questions on everyone’s mind:
How do we even understand the essence of Ms. Byrne’s unique experience? Can angels shape our own lives?
Our prayer and purpose will be to learn how we all might live in alignment with divine presence.
Following their conversation, an interactive Q&A will ensue. At the conclusion of the afternoon, each attendee will receive a personal blessing from Ms. Byrne.
