The Kietels return to JMI live with everything Soul/Jazz! It's time to get funky in a jazz kinda way featuring songs from Lou Donaldson, Grant Green, Sonny Clark and George Benson.
The Kietels were formed in 2022 in Harvey's last semester at JMI and have carried on ever since. Their sound is reminiscent of the late 50s to mid 60's organ based and groove orientated music that was briefly popular at that time.
With it's roots still deep in the art of improvisation and swing Soul/Jazz gives jazz a slightly funkier edge for the listener's pleasure.
