Welcome Halloween with a hand-carved wall hanging full of classic spooky-season charm. In this beginner-friendly woodcarving class, students will carve a two-dimensional witch silhouette flying across an 8-inch harvest moon.
Basswood and plywood cutouts will be provided as your starting point, giving you room to customize your own witchy figure — from broomstick details to cloak shape, hat, expression, and attitude. You’ll learn basic carving techniques while creating a finished Halloween piece ready to hang at home.
All tools and materials are provided. Students are welcome to bring their own carving tools if they have them.
