Hello everyone! Hoping you are having a good spring season!
I will be teaching 3 Celtic/folk harp classes at McDaniel College with Common Ground on the Hill in Westminster MD.
These will be periods 1, 2, and 3 on July 6-10/2026.
The First class is an introduction to playing the Celtic harp. We will learn about the instrument, how to play it and care for it. Rental harps will be available as long as you let me know by June 15th. Send a message here or to [email protected]. Some of these harps may be available for further rent, or eventually to rent-to-buy if you decide you want to continue with the harp. This class will cover the basics of playing.
The second class is a continuation of time with the harp, where we can work on what people want, or you can use it for practice time and asking questions. It will depend on what you want as a class.
I will need at least 3 students to run each class, so please sign up soon and if you have a friend that might want to join you, consider telling them about it to make sure the classes will run.
I will also be teaching a 3rd period class for more advanced students of all levels. This class is aimed a fun tunes to play on the folk harp. Again, I will need at least 3 people to run the class.
