Celebrate Harmony Week in the City of Salisbury.The City of Salisbury is proud to celebrate Harmony Week from Monday 17 March to Friday 28 March 2025, with the main event taking place on Friday 28 March.
Join us in celebrating Harmony Week 2025 and be part of a community that embraces diversity, connection, and cultural exchange!
Main event highlights – Friday 28 March
Taking place from 10am to 2pm at the Salisbury Community Hub, this exciting event will feature:
- A vibrant intercultural parade
- A special address from the Hon. Zoe Bettison, Minister for Tourism and Multicultural Affairs
- Welcome to Country ceremony
- A diverse line-up of cultural music and dance performances
- A ‘mini market’ hosted by the Australian Refugee Association, showcasing food and handcrafted goods from refugees and migrants who have started businesses through the ‘Boost’ program
Everyone is encouraged to wear traditional cultural clothing or orange, a colour symbolising social communication and meaningful conversations.
