The Harishchandragad Fort originally dates back to the 6th century during the rule of the Kalchuri dynasty. At a distance of 8 km from Khireshwar, 50 km from Bhandardara, 166 km from Pune & 218 km from Mumbai, Harishchandragad trek is a historical hill fort situated in the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra. The height of the fort is 1,424 meters.

Day 2--

04:00 AM: Reach the base village

04:15 AM: Start our trek to the Fort

06:30 AM: Reach Konkankadha Point

07:30 AM – 7:30 PM: Relax and enjoy at Konkankadha

08:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Explore on the fort

12:00 PM: Start descending towards the base village

04:30 PM: Have Lunch and depart for Pune

04:30 to 05:30 PM: Have Lunch

10:00 PM: Reach back to Pune

(1-2 hrs. delay is possible on the speed of trekkers, traffic on the road)

Things to Carry

-Please wear full pants and full sleeves T-shirts to protect from tanning, thorns, and insects in the jungle.

-Snacks(Energy bars, Chikki, Biscuits, Sprouts, Chips, Dry fruits)

-Glaucon D/Protein shakes/Gatorade/ORSCarry

-Extra pair of clothes which we can change after completion of the trek.

-2/3 liters water. Shortage of water is faced during treks so please carry enough water.(Mandatory)

-Any personal medicine and personal first aid(Mandatory)

-Good grip trekking shoes (Mandatory)

-One-day backpack/rucksack of 30 liters (Mandatory)

-Sun cap and Sunscreen

-Rains are expected so please carry a rain cover /Jacket and cover your phones also in a plastic cover.

-Don’t bring any expensive and not required items during treks. Trekfit won`t be responsible for any loss of phone/valuable item.

-Good torch with an extra battery if you have planned a night trek.
