"Up Next" is a monthly showcase dedicated to celebrating independent music, fostering local artistry and creating unforgettable music experiences!

In each edition, we present three rising independent artists who play their original music for an engaged, passionate and supportive audience.

About the featured artists:

Kashmira Khot - Kashmira`s vocals and lyrics have captivated the Pune music scene for over seven years, both as a soloist and the lead of her band `The Longer Route`. Rooted in a foundation of Indian classical music, her palette has expanded to include pop, rock, grunge and classic tunes. So far, she`s released 5 singles and an EP `Now Then`, which have been reviewed in major music outlets across the country. She continues to perform at popular venues in Pune and is driven to expand her discography with tracks that keep her audience excited and engaged.

Simran Ahuja - Simran Ahuja is a Pune-based singer-songwriter and live performer whose sound blends pop, soul, rock and acoustic influences. Performing live since 2017, she has taken her music across stages in Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore and Jodhpur. Her debut single, Honey, No!, introduced her original sound with a playful pop-rock edge. Alongside performing, Simran is passionate about building spaces for independent music and is the creator and host of Up Next, a platform dedicated to showcasing original artists and their music.

Trisha Anand - Trisha Anand is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist whose music channels the angst of coming of age into honest, heartfelt expression. With poignant lyrics and emotive vocals, her songs explore themes of nostalgia, anxiety, and self-discovery, drawing from personal experiences and universal emotions. Blending elements of soft rock, jazz, alternative and pop, she brings her own distinctive sound and storytelling to the stage, offering an intimate glimpse into her world through her music. She enjoys the energy of performing live and the shared experience of music with an audience, performing both as a solo artist and as the frontwoman of her band, Trisha and the Catfish.
