About this Event
Hundreds of years ago, Baltimore's Inner Harbor was a thriving tidal salt marsh surrounded by forests. The environment supported countless native species that have since declined as Baltimore City expanded and urbanized. Today, the National Aquarium’s Harbor Wetland exhibit re-creates the salt marsh that once flourished here, reintroducing crucial habitat for wildlife.
Immerse yourself in Harbor Wetland and see how you can be part of the harbor's next exciting chapter! Together, we’ll discover local wildlife living in the Inner Harbor, look back in time at Baltimore’s natural history, and learn about the importance of marsh habitats in the Chesapeake Bay.
This is an all-outdoor drop-off event. All participants must dress accordingly, wear closed-toed shoes and bring a water bottle. All participating Scouts will receive a National Aquarium patch.
