Our Happy Hour Fundraiser planned for Friday, August 14 at West Sixth Farm has been postponed until Saturday, September 19.
With temperatures expected to reach 96 degrees and feel like 107—plus a chance of thunderstorms—we decided fundraising is more fun when no one is melting or being struck by lightning.
The Downtown County Band will still be playing on September 19, and we’ll still have Toss a Duck, Heads or Tails, Roshambo, raffles, and other fun activities—just hopefully without the sweltering heat and storms!
Please mark your calendars for September 19 and help us spread the word. We hope to see everyone there!
On Saturday, September 19th, from 5–10 PM, Owen County Friends of Animals will be hosting a fun, family-friendly evening at West Sixth Farm.

The evening will include:
🎵 Live music by The Downtown County Band from 7–9 PM
🎟️ Raffles
🪙 Heads or Tails Game
🦆 Toss the Duck contests
