Our Happy Hour 4 Good summer series on 3rd Thursdays is back at South Lake Union in Seattle! 100% of net proceeds benefit local nonprofits.
About this Event

Our 3rd Thursday Happy Hour for Good continues this summer lakefront on South Lake Union in Seattle. 100% of the net proceeds benefit the chosen local non-profit for the evening. For $50 you will enjoy wine, microbrews, a casual dinner and live music on the dock from 6 - 8 pm. All 21 and over are welcome. Have refreshing food and beverage for a cause and raise some money while you're at it!

June 20 will benefit Northwest Seaport Maritime Heritage Center on its 60th Anniversary
  • Join us for an evening of food and music as we help Northwest Seaport celebrate its 60th Anniversary and support its fleet of boats at the Historic Ships Wharf at Lake Union Park: the 1889 Tugboat Arthur Foss, the 1904 Lightship No. 83 Swiftsure, and the 1911 halibut schooner F/V Tordenskjold.

Northwest Seaport is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of the maritime heritage of Puget Sound and the Northwest Coast and to the development of maritime-based educational programs and opportunities for the broad community.

More information about Northwest Seaport and its other 60th Anniversary events at https://www.nwseaport.org/ including Bands for Boats at the Tractor Tavern on June 18.

July 18 will benefit Community Passageways
  • At Community Passageways (www.communitypassageways.org) we create alternatives to incarceration for youth and young adults by rebuilding our communities through committed relationships centered on love, compassion, and consistency. We support our youth and young adults at every stage of the criminal legal process—from prevention to detention. This is designed to replace the school-to-Pr*son pipeline with a school-to-life success pipeline. Instead of suspensions and expulsions, we strive for restorative and culturally relevant programming. Instead of police, prosecutors, and judges, we operate with mentors, counselors, and circle keepers. Instead of frustration and denial, we build purpose and opportunity. Instead of jails, we will have homes, schools, jobs, and a community that stands with our youth.
  • Live Music by Jazz Night School

August 15 will benefit Harvest Against Hunger
  • As both a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and a program of Rotary District 5030, Harvest Against Hunger works with farmers, truckers, volunteers and others to bring valuable skills and resources into hunger relief efforts in communities across Washington state and beyond. To help feed hungry people with surplus nutritious produce, Harvest Against Hunger connects farmers, transportation providers and food banks; develops and sharse innovative hunger relief solutions; and, engages the public in hunger relief.

September 19 will benefit Lake Union Rotary Foundation
  • The Lake Union Rotary Foundation (LURF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded in 2012 with the goal of supporting the charitable projects of the Lake Union Rotary Club and qualifying for matching grant funding from Rotary International. Donations to LURF are 100% tax deductible and will be used to fund our current projects. Since LURF is run by members of the Lake Union Rotary Club, there is zero overhead and all funds are spent directly on service projects locally and globally. In most cases we are able to double or even triple each donation through the power of matching grants from Rotary International. Proceeds from this Happy Hour for Good will help support clean water projects in Ethiopia and our local projects focusing on at risk youth.
  • Beer from Georgetown Brewing Company and a variety of wine
  • Live music by Jannie & Friends

October 17 will benefit Page Ahead Children's Literacy Program
  • Page Ahead is a non-profit corporation that partners with elementary schools, early learning centers, and social service agencies across the state to increase access to books and reading for children and families. It’s a simple solution: by giving young students furthest from educational opportunity access to books and reading resources, Page Ahead closes the literacy gap before it forms.
