Happy Healing Hour
About this Event
A different kind of happy hour — one that offers real rest for your nervous system, not just a distraction from the week. We'll begin by simply arriving into our bodies, guided into mindfulness together. From there, gentle somatic movement invites your body to release whatever it's ready to let go of — not exercise, just listening and allowing. Then, in small groups, we'll practice something rare: real presence, no small talk, no performing. You'll leave more connected to yourself, and to a room full of open-hearted people learning to truly see and hear one another.
Facilitated by Rev Andrea Woods. Andrea is a somatic practitioner, Army veteran, and yoga teacher who specializes in helping people downshift out of stress/burn-out and back into trusting their bodies. Her work draws on mindfulness, gentle embodied movement, and Hakomi principles like loving presence and non-violence to create safe spaces for real nervous-system rest and genuine connection. Andrea runs Embodied Wayfinding, her private somatic practice in Greenville, and is an ordained Interfaith Minister and certified intuitive eating counselor.
