Experience the frontier in 2026! Children ages 8 – 12 can experience daily life on the 18th-century Watauga settlement with hands-on activities and crafts provided by Sycamore Shoals park staff and volunteers. From 9 AM to 12:30 PM each day, this day camp will include colonial games, traditional skills like leathercraft and flint & steel fires, a park service project, tomahawk throwing and beadwork, and much more. Limited to 30 participants
