Join us for a comprehensive journey into the art of herb gardening. This session takes place at the beautiful home oasis of Denee Mattioli, a graduate of the Herbalist Lifestyle Program. Denee is opening her private gardens to us for an immersive, hands-on experience. You will walk through her established garden beds and interact directly with the plants while learning how to build your own sanctuary at home.
This workshop focuses on the essential foundations of a successful herb garden. We will help you state the specific intentions and purposes for your growing space. You will learn how to identify the best location on your property and how to create the ideal soil mix for your herbs. We will also guide you in selecting 5 to 10 herbs that align with your personal goals.
Participants will develop a customized planting, maintenance, and harvest schedule based on the actual time they have available for gardening. We will also provide a list of reliable resources for sourcing quality seeds and plants. You will leave with a clear estimate of your startup costs and the first entries in your new garden journal.
Denee Mattioli is a graduate of the Herbalist Lifestyle Program. She has spent years cultivating a wonderful garden and a peaceful home environment. Her expertise offers a unique perspective on how to integrate herbalism into a daily lifestyle through gardening.
