Join Slancha and Awaykin for the opening of Hanging Baskets, a new exhibition presented as part of London Design Festival 2026 and Shoreditch Design Week.

Bringing together 10 contemporary designers, the exhibition reimagines one of Britain’s most familiar domestic objects through the lens of collectible design.

Each designer has been invited to create a one-off sculptural interpretation of the hanging basket, transforming an everyday object into a considered work exploring material, form, craft and its relationship with planting.

Together, the works will create a series of suspended gardens throughout Awaykin’s East London space.
