Samy's is pleased to welcome Zabrina Deng to Sony Days at Samy's Camera.
About this Event

Put the lecture into practice in a Matrix-inspired editorial fashion shoot with professional models. Zabrina will demonstrate how she approaches a location in real time, from finding the composition and directing the model to choosing the right lens and light.

You'll work with natural light, LED and off-camera flash, and experiment with movement, reflections, architecture and creative perspectives. Along the way, you'll see how an ordinary environment can become a striking editorial set.

You'll leave with a repeatable creative process and the confidence to create distinctive editorial portraits almost anywhere.

Sony Days at Samy's Camera in Los Angeles. Classes are free but registration is required.

I NSTRUCTOR BIO:

Zabrina Deng:

Zabrina Deng is a California-based photographer who has traveled the world creating wedding, engagement and portrait photography. She is a Sony Artisan of Imagery and a WPPI Master Photographer, with more than 60 international award-winning images to her name. Since 2011, she has earned six first-place wins and two International Image of the Year awards from WPPI. Junebug Weddings named her one of the Top 50 Best Destination Wedding Photographers in the World, and Rangefinder Magazine featured her among its 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography.

Her work has been published in International Master Photographer Vol. 1, Vanity Fair (USA), Town & Country (Thailand), Cosmopolitan Bride (China), Elle (Hong Kong), Stuff Magazine (UK) and Vogue Italia's PhotoVogue. She also photographed the 20th and 30th anniversary album covers for Grammy Award–winning R&B group All-4-One. Zabrina speaks at major photography conferences across the United States and Asia, helping professional photographers take their craft to the next level.
