LOCATION: Enchanted Energy Haven 209 W. Jefferson St. Waxahachie, TX 75165
DATE/TIME: Friday, June 26th 5:30-8:30pm
COST: $115 - all tools and materials included In this beginner-friendly class, students will make their own stained glass suncatcher - ready to hang in a sunny window. (see pattern options)
Students will learn the copper foil method to wrap glass, burnish the copper, solder pieces together, attach jump rings for hanging, clean, polish, and wax their final results. All glass will be pre-cut by instructor prior to class, so please CHOOSE YOUR PATTERN AND GLASS COLOR PREFERENCES UPON CHECKOUT. ---> Please select your pattern and glass color preferences upon registering.
My glass collection includes a variety of textures, shades, some antique, salvaged and one-of-a-kind pieces.
I have every glass color under the rainbow except dark pinks.
Be as specific as you can with your color description so I can choose appropriate glass for you. (Thank you for trusting me with this!)
Class is limited to 8 students to ensure one-on-one instruction. Sign up soon! --Ages 16+, please.
SAFETY/LIABILITY: Lead and chemicals will be handled, as well as a soldering iron. Proper safety precautions will be discussed at class. Safety glasses will be provided but feel free to bring your own.
