On Saturday 9th May 2026, our Senior Choir (Songsters), with 4 guest soloists and a live orchestral group, will present the great work of Handel's Messiah. It is widely considered one of the most beloved and performed works in the history of Western classical music.Handel's Messiah is a famous English-language oratorio composed in 1741 by George Frideric Handel, renowned for its sacred choral music, including the iconic "Hallelujah" chorus. It tells the story of Jesus Christ's birth, death, and resurrection, based on scripture from the King James Bible.
The Songsters will also be joined by a massed choir for 4 of the Choruses. If you would like more information about the massed choir please contact us directly.
