The legendary Harborne Slippy are collaborating with The Smiths tribute band, The Joneses to create an indie night of 80s, 90s and 00s hits!!! If you’re looking for your next big night out for 2026; look no further if you love Indie music, sounds of the 80s, 90s and 00s. Recapture those amazing years at the Harborne Village Social Club.
The Joneses have discovered a real gem of a live music venue in Harborne Birmingham; The Harborne Village Social Club. We will be hosting our next Birmingham event there and will be collaborating with Harborne Slippy, the ultimate in 80s and 90s Indie disco.
We will be recreating the magic of the 80s and 90s and bringing our usual Smiths magic to this amazing venue. The booze is not quite 80sprices, however whilst booze prices are going through the roof all over town, it’s great to find a social club still offering reasonable drinks prices.
If you’re looking for a night of pure enjoyment to raise your spirits, The Joneses will be delivering a rare treat of pure nostalgia from The Smiths music; when Mancunian giants bestrode the scene, Britannia ruled the airwaves and was exported across the globe. There will be five of us; expect some ‘Treats’ throughout the night!!
