Hand sewing is a real-life skill and a costume/design superpower. Learn the stitches that make repairs, finishing, and detail work look clean and intentional.
We’ll cover:
Threading needles + knotting methods
Running stitch, backstitch, whipstitch, ladder stitch
Buttons + snaps + hooks/eyes
Basic hand hemming
Simple mending + reinforcing seams
Choosing needles/thread for different fabrics
Bring (optional):
A garment that needs a button, small repair, or hand hem — or just come to learn.
Policy:
