All skill levels welcome!
Hand Building & Sculpture Studio is an open-ended ceramics session where you can come in and work on whatever you like.
Guidance is available, but artists are also free to do their own thing and work independently.
Work on your own projects or choose from a selection of beginner's projects designed to help you learn basic techniques.
Available projects include:
- Stamped cups, tumblers, or planters
- Pinch pots
- Coiled bowls or jars
- Sculpted faces or figures
- Simple coil sculpture
- Simple hollow sculpture
- Slab built boxes
- Fairy houses
Sessions include:
2 hours of studio time
Access to work tables, tools, slab roller, glazes, and underglazes
Stoneware clay*
Firing for pieces made during studio*
Small class size (4 student max)
*Clay and firing for work made outside of studio time will be available at sn additional cost.
Join for a single session or come every week to develop your ceramics skills.

About ATX Kiln Club
Our studio is a tiny home-based studio that is built inside our home's garage. We are located in a south Austin neighborhood near Brodie and William Cannon. The studio is only available by appointment and is not open to the public.
