Hammersmith to Ikea Croydon via Wandle Trail, a Leisurely Bike Ride

Meet from 9:50 am for a 10:00 am departure from .
This weekend, we ride to Croydon following the Wandle Trail. This is a leisurely and scenic route alongside the River Wandle, taking us through a few parks and some attractions and mostly away from busy roads (some small sections on main roads). Some sections of the route are off-road, and the ground might be muddy or slippery. We will stop for refreshments at IKEA Croydon.

We ride at a leisurely speed, and the overall distance is about 28 miles. Please ensure you are comfortable with this level of exertion. A cargo bike, a bike with a trailer, and a trike are not suitable for this route. A mountain bike or a hybrid is better suited for this route. We ride in all weather; come prepared. Bring locks, lights and carry a spare inner tube or a puncture repair kit.

We expect to be back at Brook Green at about 5-6 pm.
