This class will prepare you to take the test for your amateur (ham) radio technician license. Some self study will be required to be successful. For the general public, the class is free and we ask for a $20 donation for the book. License testing is $10, payable via cash, prior to taking your exam.All Santa Rosa County CERT volunteers and first responders/dispatchers will receive the class, book, license exam, and basic handheld ham radio for free.
Class Schedule:
Day 1 - Saturday January 11, 9A-5P
Day 2 - Saturday January 18, 9A-5P
Testing will occur at the end of day 2
