Halloween Costume Showcase and Mini-Parade!

It's that spooky time of year again! Dust off your hot glue guns and sewing machines.

11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

• Halloween kids crafts and photos in J.J. Byrne Playground
• Starting at 11am, join Park Slope Parents and Old Stone House for Halloween themed crafts.
• Grab a photo opportunity in front of the House.

12:00 PM

• Costume Showcase and Mini-Parade around Washington Park!
• We'll devide into themed categories and everyone will have a moment to show off their look.
• Everyone who participates gets a ribbon. Plus lots of compliments and recognition on their outfit!
• After the showcase, we'll parade up 3rd street and through the playground!
• Please note: The parade and festivities are expected to be over as early as 12:30. Get to the House before the parade passes by!

All categories are strongly encouraged to DIY and use thrifted and recycled-materials! Big Reuse (by Lowe's in Gowanus) has lots of great clothes that can be repurposed for costumes.
