What is a sling library?

Thinking about carrying your newborn/baby/toddler/preschooler? Want to try out a specific sling? Need some help with a carrier you already have? Want to meet other local parents?

Come along and enjoy a hot drink while browsing our selection of slings suitable for newborns right up to toddlers - see them demonstrated and borrow them to try at home. You can also get help with something you already have.

All welcome including partners, expectant parents and family. Please book if you can.

It's completely free to attend.

You do not have to hire, but if you do, hire costs are just £15 for 4 weeks, which includes support to find the right one for you, trying on options and getting the fit set up. Free Stretchy Wrap Hire

If your baby is under 6 weeks old, you can borrow a stretchy wrap for FREE for 4 weeks. You can then extend your hire for a discounted £10/month. To reserve, simply click here and select a "boba wrap" from the inventory.

About the venue

There is 3 hours free parking available in the Asda multistorey car park. From there, it is a lift/stair ride to the ground level, and then it's on the main shopping mall inside the centre. If you need to be parked for longer than 3 hours, please send me a message.

Several buses stop at Halesowen Bus Station.

There will also be infant feeding suport available as well as the Sandwell and Dudley Cloth Nappy Library.

Info: This portion of the session is for anyone with babies under 4 months old, or expectant families. We will be focusing on stretchy wraps and carriers suitable from birth.

Info: This is a general library session, open to all ages. Those who attend the first half are welcome to stay and see what the next steps are after the newborn stage!
