Hair Lab: Read and Style

Welcome to Hair Lab: Read and Style! Join us at the Baltimore County Public Library, Randallstown Branch every Tuesday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM (Eastern Time) from August 12 through August 26, 2025 for a fun and interactive 3-week series designed especially for youth ages 10–14.

What to Expect: Each week, we’ll explore the powerful and inspiring book “I Love My Hair” through guided discussion and creative activities. Following the reading, participants will take part in hands-on hair styling sessions led by licensed stylist . They'll learn techniques, practice styles, and celebrate the beauty of their hair in a fun, supportive environment.

Why You Should Come: Whether your child is a hair enthusiast or simply curious to try something new, this program is all about building confidence, encouraging self-expression, and fostering a love for reading and personal care.
