Janine Mitchell is a singer-songwriter from Wellington who performs heartfelt songs, both originals and covers, in the 60’s/70’s folk genre. With her guitar and fine lyrical vocals, she sings about environmental and social issues that are close to her heart.
Janine is accompanied by Jack (vocals and lead guitar), Kevin (vocals, mandolin and harmonica), and Pete (vocals and percussion).
After recording an album of original songs (Etched in My Soul) with these talented musician friends, forming the Haewei Collective, who now perform regularly at venues across Wellington and in other towns around New Zealand.
