Join us for a vibrant afternoon and evening of culture, community, and connection in the heart of the city!We are excited to invite you to the Shared Communities Pop-Up Multicultural Market, taking place on Saturday, 2 May, as part of the Tuku-26 Closing Celebration.
📍 Location: Top of Trafalgar (pedestrian area in front of the Cathedral) & 1903 Square (small stage area nearby)
🕓 Time: 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm
This special market celebrates the rich cultural diversity of our communities. Enjoy a welcoming space where migrant and former refugee communities share their traditions, creativity, and cultural heritage.
🎭 What to expect:
• Cultural stalls offering authentic cuisine and traditional crafts
• Traditional performances, live music and dance on the stage
• Community connection and storytelling
• A lively, family-friendly atmosphere
This market is part of the Shared Communities initiative, created to support participation, reduce barriers, and provide opportunities for communities to showcase their culture and talents in public spaces.
