Get ready to collaborate with like-minded individuals, brainstorm ideas, and build amazing projects together. Whether you're a seasoned coder or a newbie to the tech world, this event is perfect for anyone looking to push their boundaries and learn something new.

This is one of our chill hackathons, just a pure and free day for you to hone your skills as a developer or maker of things, and to build something fun or useful! Century Hack is all about celebrating Portsmouth's 100th year as a city, so we've set some appropriate challenges to help you decide what to build, so you can focus without wasting a day just thinking.

Social Good - How can you improve your local area? We have loads of suggestions here from our hack club events that we run most months.

100 - This is vague on purpose. You could do anything related to that number. Be adventurous, we want creativity here.

The next 100 - Build something to shape the next 100 years. What will UI look like? Will we finally have flying cars?

Closer to the event, we will release a big ol' list of ideas for each of the challenges should you find yourself at a loss still. Keep an eye on our website and socials!

Info: Time to check-in and get your lanyard, grab some free breakfast, drink some much needed coffee and mingle with like-minded hackers!

Info: We'll introduce ourselves, let you know what you can expect throughout the day and give you our top tips for making the most of a hack day.

Info: You will either start hacking away if you know what you're going to make, otherwise you can join our group and idea forming session where we’ll help you to come up with a game plan for the day.

Info: Enjoy some tasty food and relax for a bit!

Info: After lunch comes the crunch, only 2 and a half hours to get your projects and presentations to a "good enough" state.

Info: While this isn't a competition, we will have some awards for the teams that do well.

Info: If you fancy it, join the Hack Pompey team and other hackers at the Guildhall Village after the event where we can let our hair down and shoot the breeze over a well-earned beverage.
