About the Author:

Hugh “H.D.” Hunter is  from Atlanta, Georgia. He’s the author of Torment: A Novella and Something Like Right, which won the 2025 BCALA Children and Youth Literary award for a debut novel. Hugh is also the winner of several international indie book awards for multicultural fiction. You can find his short fiction online in Porter House Review and The Meadowlark Review. 

Hugh also authored the Futureland series, including Battle for the Park, which was named a Georgia Center for the Book 2023 Book All Young Georgians Should Read and the 2023-2024.

Terry J. Benton-Walker is the bestselling and award-winning author of the new adult romantasy, The Drakon King, which is releasing on November 10th, 2026 from Bramble/Tor.

Terry grew up in rural GA and holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech and a Master's in Business Administration from Georgia State. He lives in Atlanta, and when he’s not writing, he can be found gaming, eating ice cream, or both.
