# What is Gæmz?
Gæmz is a community for the people who are into art/experimental games, playful media, and d0peshit founded in 2019 by Nomi (thenomi.com). Our mission is to be a safe and friendly community that can help us have a more exciting and interesting art-things world especially by supporting the artists and the like.
Gæmz CPH is the new spinoff happening in Copenhagen, organized by Horatiu Roman (horatiuromantic.com / complicatednonsense.com). The idea is to connect with each other and get inspired, support each other with our presence, and hear about what's happening in the local scene. Simple but effective.
We have a discord server where we keep in touch with other gaemz locations in Tokyo, London, Berlin, Taipei, etc. and international folks, and we have social media channels.
