Gynecologic cancers consist of several types of cancers: ovarian, cervical, uterine, endometrial and more. Approximately 100,000 people are diagnosed with gynecologic cancer in the United States each year. Symptoms are unique to each individual, and several factors — age, obesity, HPV infection or vaccination history, family history and more — can impact someone's risk for developing a gynecologic cancer. At City of Hope Cancer Center Atlanta, we have a specialized gynecologic oncology team with the training and expertise to diagnose and treat cancers of the female reproductive organs.
