Guided Sauna Cold Plunge Contrast Therapy

Contrast is an offering a guided 90-minute experience that blends sauna, cold plunge, breathwork, and mindfulness. Designed for those seeking more than just relaxation, this session is a powerful reset for both body and mind. Through science-based protocols and intentional stillness, you'll learn to regulate your nervous system, sharpen your focus, and reconnect with your inner strength.

Founded by Sina, a certified Thermalist educator from the Dr. Susanna Søberg Institute, Contrast blends modern science with time-tested techniques to help you train your mind and body. The practice is designed to build sharper awareness, deeper focus, and a calm mental balance known as equanimity. These are skills that support resilience in heat, cold, and everyday life.

Though far more activating than Yoga Nidra, this practice similarly cultivates presence. Amid heat and cold, you train your mind to stay aware and composed. Clarity comes not from escaping discomfort but from learning to meet it.

We are excited to host this special Contrast experience in our very own San Francisco open waters! Join us Thursday, October 9th at Aquatic Park. In this pop-up, our sauna will sit on a trailer less than a minute walk from the ocean that will serve as our cold plunge training ground. Join us for this one-of-a-kind experience by the bay.

What to expect:

• Quiet, guided mindfulness practice

• At least 3 rounds of heat (12-18 minutes) and cold (2-3 minutes)

• Wood burning cedar Sauna

• Ocean water temp in low 60s with clear safety checks

• Shower to rinse off

• Secure area to store belongings

• Pop-up privacy tent for changing

• Bathroom less than 1 block away

• Where: Aquatic Park, meeting location: 900 Beach Street, San Francisco, CA

• When: Thursday, October 9th, 6-8pm PST

• Arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for changing

• Bring: swimsuit, 2 towels, sandals, water, a warm layer for after to cozy up after

• We enforce a clothing-required policy. All guests are kindly requested to wear swimsuits throughout their visit.
