Join one of our volunteers on an informal, easy going walk to orient you to the trails and introduce you to some of the plants and animals that can be found at Savannas Preserve State Park. Ideal for newcomers and beginners who would like company when exploring the outdoors with someone who is familiar with the terrain.Bring water, sun protection, and comfortable shoes. A good portion of this trail is soft, sugar sand and walking up and down inclines. Strollers are not recommended as they would most likely have a tough time navigating the sand.
There are no restrooms and no ranger station at this site.
The activity is free with your park entrance fee. Park admission is $3 for a vehicle (up to 8 people). Bicyclists and pedestrians are $2/person. Park entrance fees are to be paid online using a QR code at the kiosk or online at https://reserve.floridastateparks.org/Web/Memberships/CustomerMembershipPasses.aspx
