Guided Hike at Nancy Payton Preserve

Event Description: Led by Conservation Collier land manager, this will be a slow-paced, reflective walk through the pine flatwoods habitat. There will be moments of guided interpretation, as well as intentional quiet time for observation and personal reflection. We encourage curiosity, stillness, and respect for the landscape and one another.

Please arrive by 7:45am so the hike can start promptly at 8:00am.

About the Preserve: Nancy Payton Preserve protects native pine flatwoods and upland habitats in Naples, providing important refuge for local wildlife. The preserve supports a variety of plant and animal species, including gopher tortoises, white-tailed deer, wading birds, and native songbirds, and serves as part of a larger conservation network that helps sustain Southwest Florida’s natural ecosystems.
