Lyla Ruth has been dancing for nearly her entire life and has built a career around teaching, performing, producing, and choreographing.
Her experience spans hundreds of private events and concerts as well as major theatrical productions including Footloose, Grease, Pippin, Peter Pan, The Lion King Jr., Beauty and the Beast, and The Music Man. She has also produced numerous original works and collaborated with schools, theaters, colleges, and community arts organizations throughout the Tampa Bay area.
Her work has earned recognition including Best Dancer in Creative Loafing’s Best of the Bay, Tampa Bay’s Best Choreographer, and Best Choreographer from BroadwayWorld.com.
Swing dance holds a particularly special place in Lyla’s heart. Her love of tap, jazz music, dance history, and American social dance inspired her production It Don’t Mean a Thing, A Tribute to Swing, which welcomed an audience of approximately 1,000 people.
Lyla continues to invest in her education and growth as an instructor. She is a Swing Diversity University graduate, has participated as an apprentice teacher at national West Coast Swing events, and is ITAPONLINE Level 2 certified.
At the heart of everything she does is a belief that dance and live entertainment have the power to bring people together.

Jacob Reding is a traveling dance instructor and competitor known for his versatility across multiple partner dance styles.
His public dance profiles identify him as a West Coast Swing All Star, Country Swing dancer, UCWDC World Champion, and international traveling instructor. He is also associated with Reding Dance and regularly teaches and participates in dance events throughout the country.
Jacob brings a dynamic presence to the dance floor and experience across both competitive and social dance communities, making this a special opportunity for Dance Flow students to learn from a dancer with a broad partner dance background.
