ππ‘π πππ¨π«π²Living Lands & Waters (LL&W), is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded by Quad City native, Chad Pregracke. Chad grew up in East Moline, IL, with the Mississippi River as his backyard. Through his experiences of living and working on the river, he became appalled by the amount of debris on the shorelines. As a result, in 1998, Chad formed Living Lands & Waters and has been aiding in the protection, preservation, and restoration of the natural environment of our nationβs major rivers and their watersheds all while creating a desire and opportunity for citizens to take an active role in helping to make a cleaner river environment. Since the organization was founded, Living Lands & Waters has grown to be the only βindustrial strengthβ river cleanup organization like it in the world.

In 2023, LLW purchased the unique Beacon Harbor building on the Mississippi River waterfront in East Moline to serve as their new organizational headquarters. They have long had a vision of a space where their service to the river, our community, and their conservation efforts could converge. LLW believes this vision will be realized at the Beacon Harbor building and grounds. They have now embarked on our capital campaign to raise the necessary funding for renovations and maintenance. Financial support will help fund essential design plans, exterior and interior renovations, and crucial upgrades to make the space functional, safe, and welcoming.

Since its inception, LL&W has embodied the mission by removing 13,588,779 pounds of trash from Americaβs Rivers, planted/distributed 2,139,378 trees, educated 28,633 students, and held over 1,400 community cleanups with 134,770 volunteers on 25 rivers in 23 states.

The LLW Crew are some of the hardest-working people in the area, so we're putting them behind the pine to guest bartend with us. They'll show just how hard they work, but for tips!! They'll be pouring your favorite Handcrafted Beers and talking about their cause, to make America's rivers clean!! ποΈ
FSB will be donating $1 per pour, which will challenge the guest bartenders to keep up because we all know the more your drink, the more we donate π»
